Set up a Competition

This page lists the steps that you need to go through when setting up your competition.

Pick 'Start a New Competition', choose the type of competition from the picklist and fill in the name, venue, date and a unique database name. This will create the competition database for you. If you want to change it later, use 'Change Competition Details' on the 'Edit Competition' screen. Note: You cannot change the Type of Competition once it has been created.
The next steps you need to perform are:- 1. Process the competition entry forms or load the list of entrants from a CSV data file 2. Set up the competition timetable 3. Set the Start Order for the whole competition 4. Create the Programme and Officials' Checklists for the competition 5. Go and have a well deserved beer
